Soo..dh did something quite dangerous last night..
and I haven't confronted him..
I go downstairs and was like "wow, its smells good down here"..then thinking ok, something is not right..
He left a candle burning ALL NIGHT
My biggest fear always, and last night he managed to "fulfill" it! Im lucky I have a house today!
So, PLEASE make sure your candles are out before you "Hit the Hay"!
Nothing happened, but, the house smelled really good..LOL

Thank you...and for this reason I now buy the candles that burn for only a few hours, (cant recall the name) but they sell it at the grocery store comes with a glass dish and the candle tarts stick to the base...they only burn for a short time...

I'm glad nothing happened! I'm usually the one in our house who forgets to blow them out. Dh is always after me about that (as he should be!). I'm getting much better about it though...

I light my candles and my DH who goes to sleep first always blows them out on his way up, he knows that I would probably forget!

Iconfess though, I've left candles burning all night 2 times already. I could have burned down my parent;s house!!!!!

I've left candles on and went out for hours.
Thankfully I keep them where there is NOTHING else around (because I know myself) although that is no guarantee.
DH always has to remind me to blow them out before I go out or go to bed.

I had never done that before and last week I lit a bunch of candles and came home to find out that I had forgotten to blow one of them out

Ive left candles on during the night. I pray our alarm/fire system works!!!! we forget all the time.
I onced left the house and forgot to put out a candle, I was so upset with myself for that!

I left a candle burning overnight once...Bad me I actually had a candle in the computer room upstairs and that was the one i left burning...so I longer have candles upstairs
