SOOOOO, turns out I was right... my DD wasn't really happy to see Santa!
Yeah, I'm the bad mommy that laughs hysterically when I look at these pictures. This is what my DH took as I tried to get my DD to take a picture with Santa and DS. They're a little blurry, but you can get the full story out of them. Take note of my DS in the background, sitting patiently on Santa's lap, looking at the camera, ignoring the craziness of my DD, ready to take his picture! 
Trying to run away from Santa:
The final product... this was the only way to get DD to calm down. Turned into a family picture with Santa!

I was going to say the same thing!!
I personally think the crying kids with Santa pics are hilarious too. I plan to get some of my own with DS soon!

i do too! i was standing on line waiting to take ds to see santa and the little boy in front of us was hysterical crying on santas lap.. the mother was sooo upset her ds was crying and couldn't get a smiling picture. she winded up walking away after several pics were taken ( i would have bought all of them LOL)
my ds walks over to santa gave him a high five and sat on his lap smiling at the camera.. is it bad i wanted him to cry just a bit?
