Where can I find the soothie pacifiers like they give you in the hospital. The three I have were from a starter kit from first years. DD now loves them but the size we have is only good for 0-3mthsChat Icon

I have seen them at BBB and BRU. I think BBB also carries the soothie bottles.

On a side note, I got the 3m+ ones and took them out to start using them once my DD turned 3 months and she won't take them....will only take the 0-3m green ones. think it has something to do with the 3m+ plus ones being harder. i met another mom in BuyBuyBaby who said her kid is the same....12 months and still on the green ones.
anyone else find that?

My DD would not use the 3+ month one at first, but when I saw her putting the newborn ones in her mouth her choice was the 3+ ones or nothing.

Re: Soothie Pacifiers

I got mine at BBB. I have not given him the 3+ month ones but they are really hard!!! Even the 0-3 month ones are not as soft as NUKS. I prefer the Soothies because they are so easy to clean, but he pops them out of his mouth so easily, so I started to use NUKS and I give him the Soothies only when I feel more patient to deal with the popping!!!

The reason why the 3+mths are harder is because they figure that's when teething starts and once there teeth start coming in they can probably chew through the soft blue ones.

DD was hooked on the newborn soothies when I upgraded her to the harder ones at around 5mths she hated it and wound up weaning herself off the pacifier all together.

Target
BRU

DS is 7.5 months and will only take those. REFUSES any other pacifier or the blue one for 3+months. He only likes the green.

Re: Soothie Pacifiers

My DD only loves the green ones. She is 9 months and I weaned her to only use them for naps and bedtime; but, she only will take the ugly green ones.
