sorry another MIL vent
So Mallory has her end of the year school play this weekend... It is going to be SOO cute  Singing and dancing on "the ballerinas stage" as Mallory calls it...
anyway I emailed everyone over a month ago with the date so they could pencil it in...
I remind my MIL this weekend and as soon as I tell her I can tell she's looking for an excuse..ummmmm... I think Saturday is ok..ummmm
So then I email everyone the time info and tell them to let me know how many so I can save seats.. the email back I get is..
I'll let you know closer too the date if its OK...
UMM it's Saturday and it's your GRAND-DAUGHTER! that's very excited about her show!
I'm almost about to tell her not to bother!! 
This is so typical of her.. she needs me to beg her to be there  I'm not going to
sorry.. vent over 
Would you say anything.. or just let it go?!

I would probably just say "Oh, it would mean a lot to DD if you could be there. Let me know ASAP otherwise I won't have enough seats saved." And I'd leave it at that.

Her loss and shes going to feel like an Azz one day in the future when she doesnt attend.
Im sorry!!! She will regret not attending. Not sure your relationship with your mil, if your close or not. but if your not, i would have your dh say something.

That's so annoying. Doesn't she realize that you need to know earlier than a couple of days before the show. I wouldn't say anything. When it gets closer to the date of the show and if she calls to say she is coming then I would say "sorry there are no more seats available, that's why I needed to know ASAP". Maybe then she'll feel like an "Azz"
