sorry another tattoo Q: Anyone have a WHITE tatty?
i got one last night. i wanted it in black but since its on my face my boss/friend/tattooer said hellllll no. he was refusng to tattoo my face but after enough begging he said ONLY in white.
it was late last night. it looks like a scar and still has a bit of purply-blue from the stencil.
just wanted to see anyones healed white tats... i saw at least one member had one.

alot. thousands at least. BUT.... now i get tattooed for completely free because i work in a shop. i wont have to pay for anymore from here on in if i get tattooed at my shop.
i DO have an appointment with miss d'jo. for example i have 3 hours with her. she is $150 an hour....
so it adds up.
its the only thing i would splurge on for the most part.. but its a lifetime investment lol

didnt hurt at all. the sound and vibrating were annoying though.
i was PRETTY scared it was going to be torture. NOT AT ALL! you have no nerves there. it was a breeze. probably the least painful one to date!
these however.... KILLED!

you have to be careful with white. i mean at this point it's probably almost healed but if you have alot of white, the blood can seep through and stain it and make it a yellowish color. happened to a few friends of mine.

I'm not usually a fan of tattoos although as an artist I have great appreciation for the really well-done ones....
however, a friend of mine has a white tattoo (the only time I ever heard of this) on the inside of her wrist. it's a snowflake and it looks AWESOME. you dont really notice it at first but it's stunning up close. I'd say it's maybe 2" in diameter?
your tattoo is pretty! even if it was black I dont think it would have been bad with that size/placement. when you said "on your face" i was picturing Carly Smithson's husband

i know, i usually advise people AGAINST white ones.... me and alex made a deal: live with the white one for 6 months and then i can make it black or whatever if i choose.
they can turn yellowish like you said (more commonly in smokers) or look like scarification. if this happens to me i am changing it no doubt about it.

I really want to get G's name in white or some kind of tribute to him. I was thinking on my neck since I can cover it & not expose it to the sun or the elements while it is healing. I am a bleeder though & worry about discolouration.
