Sorry if this doesn't belong here but looking for some ideas
I know there are a lot of sensitive issues going on here on this board and I don't mean to barge in but I figured some of you might be able to help me out if you have been in a similar situation.
I m/c in November and my EDD is coming up. DH wanted to wait before we TTC again and I desperately wanted to right away. It was my first pregnancy and I was thrilled. But that feeling was taken from me and now he decided he's not ready. I had hoped that I would be pregnant again before the EDD but obviously I won't be.
For those of you who m/c and were not pregnant again before the EDD, did you do anything that day? How did you handle that time? I was thinking of releasing pink balloons or something (I found out it was a girl). I just don't know how I will even get through the next few weeks.

I kept myself very busy.
It's my coping mechanism. I didn't want to commemorate it at all, I just wanted the day to pass.

Please don't release balloons. They can choke and kill wildlife.
I was concentrating on getting pregnant again when my EDD came and went...and dealing with newly-discovered IF issues. So, I didn't pay much attention to that date. You have to let it go and look forward. If DH isn't ready, perhaps plan something to celebrate the "twoness" of you....

I know what you are going through. My EDD is approaching also.  Basically I am going to get through the day as best as I can, I will probably even shed a few tears.
Although me and my DH arent ones to dwell on the past, this day will be one that we will never forget.

I went through this as well- January 5th will always be a sad day for me....it was a loss and one that I wont forget. DO what you feel will get you through the day. Thinking of you!

Thank you everyone for your understanding and responses. I am working that day so that will be good but I definately need to do something to keep busy I guess. I knew you wonderful ladies would understand this pain.

My best friend is planting a small orchard on her property for the same reason. (She does have a lot more property because she's upstate.) There might be something on a smaller scale you can do here.
