For those who were/are on clomid do you remember what dosage the RE started you out on? TIA

This is my first cycle w/ clomid. I was prescribed 100mg. I already ovulate on my own.

100mg.

I already ovulated on my own with no problem. But, this dose caused me to have a dysfunctional cycle.

Round 1 - 50mg

Round 2-4 - 100mg

Round 5 - 100mg - didn't work, did another 5 days at 150mg in that same cycle. (250mg total that cycle)

Rounds 1&2 - 50 mg
Rounds 3&4 - 100mg
Rounds 5&6 - 150mg

I started on 50
2nd cycle on 100
3rd cycle on 150

I do not ovulate on my own and did 2 cycles at 50mg - it did get me to ovulate

Sorry, I just saw this. My RE is truly befuddled about the whole thing. She said she has seen this reaction before with women who DON'T ovulate on their own, if the dose is too low. It revs the engines, so to speak, but isn't enough of a dose to complete the task. But, she's never seen this happen with someone who has no issue with ovulating on her own, so it's anyone's guess really.

Next cycle she's upping the dose and we'll see what happens...
