It could just be that you're so early on. The best indicator is if the #'s rise on the next test. Do you have another one scheduled?
Side note: This is why I had refused to take any tests this time before 7 weeks.

9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal: <9.5 mIU/ml

Stay positive...I have never [in 2 pregnancies] had my levels checked. Sometimes too much testing can just make you nervous and worry for nothing.

I know it seems impossible but try to stay postive. Did you get a chance to speak with the dr?? If not you should cazll and tell them you want to speak to the dr.
