Sorry NPR but this is where I really post...
Now DH has what DD has - so I'm trying to take care of both of them and DH is really sick. I'm trying to stay healthy b.c my OB told me when it came to what DD gets to make sure I don't catch the stomach flu/stomach bug - but I just know no matter how much I scrub that between DD throwing up on me and DH now very sick that I just know I will get this.

Thank you all so much - I rarely post pity posts but I'm just having a very rough night. I have barely slept after taking care of DD who was up and throwing up all night and DH ran errands all day so I was watching her so I couldn't nap - now DH is very sick and needs me to so I'm running up and down trying to take care of both of them. I feel like Thanksgiving all over again - when DD got coxsackie and gave it to DH who gave it to me.

WOW. You guys can't catch a break. It does sound like Thanksgiving all over again.
Hope you don't get sick! and that DH and DD get well soon.

my husband had it when i was pregnant and i avoided it. this is what i did, u can wear a mask, only touch door knobs, handles, etc w/ a lysoled, alcoholed papertowel, lysol down everything hourly, air out house opening windows here and there. wear gloves when cleaning up poop vomit etc..... TAKE vitamins. stay healthy! keep us posted.............

When I was pregnant with DS my entire household got the pukey sicky disease...DH and all 5 of the kids. Luckily, with constant hand washing and a 1/2 dozen cans of lysol...I was able to keep myself from getting it.

I have been doing that - but it would be much easier if it was just DH b.c I can confine him to one room etc - but unfortunately DD had it with projectile vomiting and she only wants to lay in my arms. I'm going thru a ton of clorox and lysol and scrubbing my hands and doing constant laundry in hot hot water. Unfortunately I have to now scrub down the bathroom and Kitchen b.c DH won't listen when I tell him to ONLY use ONE of our two full baths and he keeps going into the kitchen even though I tell him to NOT go anywhere near it and let me get him things. I'm just praying that I am doing enough.

OMG, you poor thing....is anyone able to help you? Your Mom is nearby right? Not that you want to get her sick but it sounds like really need help! I hope everyone starts feeling better very very soon.

Yes my parents are about a mile away (mom actually used to be a nurse so she is calling and checking in). Unfortunately they have company coming today and won't come over b.c they are afraid of catching what we have. They are making a grocery run to get more gatorade and pedialyte but they won't come in. So I'm on my own. So far I'm feeling good so I just keeping my fingers crossed.
