Sort of nervous Rant: Traveling while pregnant
Still feeling really nauseaus most of the time and heading to Costa Rica on Wednesday. I am a little nervous about finding safe food and water so I don't get sick. I have my first dr. apointment on Monday so I am going to get some tips on what to do / not do while I am there. Obviously no big adventures anymore (ziplining plans have been cancelled :(). Last night I spoke to DH about packing some fun snacks to eat just incase everyone else is being adventurous and I can't. We plan on buying lots of bottled water when we get there.
Any suggestions about the flight/ what to bring?

i would honestly just bring whatever appeals to you!
for the flight, i like to just go into JFK and look around and grab whatever looks good... cookies, fruit, trail mix, pretzels & hummus, salad...

Re: Sort of nervous Rant: Traveling while pregnant
how far along are you? it sounds like you are still early on. i think you could probably do everything you did before you were pregnant, but of course it's always better to ask your doctor first. i went to jamaica when i was 8 weeks pregnant, and still did all the fun stuff i wanted to do!
i would bring the foods you can still tolerate w/o getting nauseous. i think you will be fine!

I was hoping I would be able to. Dr. said no to the ziplining. I tink I will do the canopy tours in the rainforest instead. Super sad
