Does anyone else keep tracks of gifts they receive, i have a book with all my shower gifts, wedding etc...am i the only one???

NOpe, I have saved excel spreadsheets of gifts i've gotten from my engagement party, bridal shower, baby shower, wedding..No time though to do baby ones

I saved it as well. I have my own numbers and don't really sway too much, but there is one that had a pretty insulting gift and her daughter is getting married and I will not give what I normally give.

I like the book idea but I have just saved it on my computer along with the thank you's that I sent (address labels). I always get frantic when I think that I may have forgotten someone.

I keep everything in memory but usually will make a note on the card what the person gave...I used to save cards but I started throwing them out now b/c i can't stand the clutter anymore.

I did. I have the decorative notebook from my baby shower. I also added gifts I rec'd when DS was born and those after. I also put in there the gifts rec'd at his Baptism. Will probably do the same for his 1st bday too!

Absolutely not. I am grateful for everything I receive and I give as much as I could. With that said, OF COURSE there is that part in my memory that never forgets the most ridiculous things I or we have gotten  But honestly, I would feel embarrased to give the same as they have given me or us.
