Sorta Spinoff to "the hobby post"...What is on your "bucket List"?
Like what hobbies / things do you want to learn and do before you die? Watching your kids grow up and time with loved ones aside (those are "givens" that everyone will say IMHO). I mean stuff for YOU only.

Top 5 thing I want to do for ME:
5) Learn pole dancing and take a class
4) Learn Italian and go to Capri and Sicily.
3) Parasailing.
2) Swim with Dolphins in Hawaii again.
1) Surf Wiamea, Oahu aka Surfing Mecca in Hawaii.

1. Learn Italian (it's a beuaitful language and I also want to learn it because Dh's family has a house there and we go often. Also, to talk in private with the DH!  )
2. Travel on all 7 continents
Thats' about it really besides the typical responses of having children, a good career, etc.

Before I had my spinal fusion I thought I'd never be able to do things again that I am now able to do! I'm 1 1/2 years post surgery.

Hmm. I definitely want to learn to speak Italian, and DH & the kiddies too.
I want to learn how to do at least one more artistic thing. I cannot make up my mind right now between Chinese Calligraphy or tattooing (or maybe tattooing Chinese Calligraphy)
I'd love to record a duets album with my grandfather's lost tracks that we found after he passed a few years ago.
I want to travel of course, but the places I want to see are too many to list here.
I always wanted to write a book based on some of the crazy things I have experienced in my life. My friends always tell me it would make for a good read
I have done tons already, like swim with dolphins, parasail, travel, meet unique people...I mean I am pretty lucky that I have lead a full life even before I got married.

Before I had my spinal fusion I thought I'd never be able to do things again that I am now able to do! I'm 1 1/2 years post surgery.
I know.... the Drs keep saying "It just takes time..." It's been almost two years since the first surgery and about 2.5 months since the last surgery. It just gets frustrating some times. I'm not sulking about it or anything. I've been in my karate school for about 8 years, but only active for about 4. Surgeries and DC births keep taking me out for months at a time....

Aside from the givens (like you mentioned), I want to go skydiving, I want to swim with dolphins and I want to travel around the world. I especially want to see Greece and Australia (The top of the list, but there are many other places I'd love to see).

3. Scuba dive
4. Ride in a hot air balloon

Travel the world
Learn to knit
Take dance leasons again
Take a trip by myself to Poland, and to also travel alone and also with my family
And then the normal *wishes*
