We have the sound machine by DEX. They sell it in BRU. My DD loves it. We use it every night. It has a lot of different sounds and combinations of sounds. Its great!

We have one from BRU not sure of the name of it offhand (I'm at work) but it has the womb sound, beach, birds, & more. You can put it on timer & put it w/ random or a combination. DD loves it. It was only $19.99 (I believe).

Got this in Bed Bath and Beyond. Also saw it in Kohls.
ETA: Plays sounds, songs, and does a "show" on the ceiling.
Bryan really likes it.

We have the Sleep Sheep. It is a fuzzy sheep that attaches to the crib with velcro. It has 4 sounds, rain, whale, ocean and heartbeat.
DS has slept with Ocean every night since we came home. LOVE IT!Link

We bought the Sound Soother from the Shaper Image. We bring it with us when we travel with DD.
Although I don't recall paying what Sharper Image is charging  , but then again I was probably desperate when I got it and didn't care about the cost.

I use a radio tuned in between stations. I am sort of from the "if it ain't broke don't fix it school" that, and I am too cheap to buy a proper one as it works fine!
