Sources for books?
Where/how do you get your books? Do you spend a lot of money on them? Kindle books ? Do you use kindle unlimited or prime? Library?

Sources for books?
I go to the library. I had a nook years ago and didn't like it. I like to actually hold a book in my hands. But I don't like to pay for my books

Do you look for titles and reserve ahead of time?

Lately I've been reading more thanks to prime. They have prime first where they let you pick one of five or six new releases a month for free. There is also prime reading which has a ton of free books.

I don't reserve; just take whatever is on the shelf. I read a lot of books by the same authors and sometimes I skim the shelves and pick random books. I get reccs from blogs.

Re: Sources for books?
I follow a few authors on FB and they recommend books all the time. I use Goodreads so I get recs that way. I also peruse the book section at Target I log into Goodreads when I find something I like, scan the book and then its saved in there.
Also, I don't buy books. I would love too but I can't justify it when I can get it from the library. I usually reserve and find books in the mean time to keep me occupied.

Same with me. I reserve books for future readin from the library. I rarely buy books for pleasure reading. I like physical books. I have tons of books on kindle, but it is rare for me to read them.

Sources for books?
I'm in 3 book clubs, so that's where I get a lot of the books I read from. I never go to library. I prefer to own my books, so I buy physical books I'd say 80% of the time. I will download if I need a book for one of my book clubs and can't get it from the store in time or if I just want a book immediately.

Sources for books?
Whenever a book comes out that I want to read but the library doesn't have it, I ask them to buy it. 99% of the time they do and because I made the request, I get to read it first!

Sources for books?
I get all of my books from the library. I read a lot of ebooks since I can download them anytime and they expire at the end of my loan so I do not have to return them but I prefer regular books. I no longer buy books with the exception of cookbooks.

I tried and struggled in the past to use the library for digital borrowing. Someone recently recommended the app Overdrive which links to your library and I've finally been able to borrow through that and read on my kindle app.

I have been using overdrive lately too. It's free , links with your library card. only draw back is you only have 2 weeks to read them and like the regular library they only have so many copies that can be read at a time so sometimes you have to wait for them.

Re: Sources for books?
I love to read, but I try not to spend a lot of money on books.
I often borrow from the library, but it can be hard to get brand new releases. But I still regularly borrow from the library, and have discovered a lot of great books that way (and read older books by authors I have enjoyed).
I have a Nook, so I do download books sometimes. But I occasionally get a Barnes & Nobles gift card as a gift, or use credit card rewards points for a B & N gift card. I like to use the gift cards for new releases that I've been waiting for by authors I love.
I also signed up for BookBub, so I get daily emails with alerts on "deals" on ebooks in my chosen genres (women's fiction, mystery/thriller, romance, etc.). They are either free books or heavily discounted ($.99 to $2.99).
If I'm going on vacation (like our annual Jersey shore week), I do go to the bookstore and actually purchase a few new books. I love reading when I'm on vacation, so I treat myself to some new books. But that's the only time I really buy physical copies of books.
