South Bay OBGYN

I am 14 weeks and need to switch OBGYNS. I love mine but she is all the way in Huntington and I now live in Islip. Also, there is always a long wait. It is just too far to go especially since I work in the city. For every appointment, I have to take off work. A friend recommended South Bay in West Islip. Does anyone have any recommendations on OBGYNS there? I prefer a woman.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my neighbor uses them and she loves them, she says every dr. is amazing! Good luck!

i actually had HUGE issues with that office, you can FM me if you want, but id NOT recommend them

I just switch to them for this pregnancy because I was not happy with my doc for my last pregnancy.

While I like the practice (there are 8 doctors adn around 5 are women) it just seems so unorganized sometimes. The first time you go there you will be so confused, at least i was.

Anyway, a few pros with the place - they do everythign there. No need to go out to another place to get sonos...they have a sono tech there everyday. I just got my level 2 there yesterday and she was really nice. They are good with calling you for results of tests. They have always called me with every result, be it good or bad.

The cons - as mentioned above. its unorganized, IMO, the wait can be a bit much and everytime I call i feel as though they never answer the phone. I have to keep calling them back to get someone to pick up.

But with that, I see Dr. Judge (a man) and I love him. He is just so sweet.

All in all I am happy with the switch. This is my last baby so after this they will just be doing my annual exams.
