So...who else here is over 30?

I'm 33 and will be trying for our first next month......(I'll be 34 in June)

We want two kids!

Anyone else in the same situation?
Does this bother you at all since the higher risk age of 35 is close?
Are you trying for #1, #2, etc??

I am 31 and would like 3 kids. We are trying for #1 now so I guess by #3 I will be over 35. It does make me a bit nervous. I had always wanted to be a young mother but things didn't work out that way. Being older does have its advantages though, I am much more mature and think I will make a better mother now!

34 and wish we had started sooner since I naively thought it would happen 1,2,3. I will be at least 35 when I give birth if I get pregnant soon. I worry very little about the higher risks of being "older" - I just want to get pg and have babies.

I was 33 when I got pregnant with DD. We are TTC for our second, and I will be over 35-even older if we go for a 3rd. Just a little more worried compared to my first, but not overwhelmingly so. I'll be opting for a lot of tests probably.

Try not to get so caught up in the number! I'm 37, will be two months shy of 38 when baby #1 is born.

I was not considered high risk because of my age. I was not a high risk pregnancy at all until later in my pregnancy, due to other factors that did not include my age.

I'm 31 and would like 2-3 children. I'm nervous b/c I keep having miscarraiges, not b/c of my age.

I am going to be 31 next week and I have one already...want 3 children before I close up shop

#1 in 2007 = 29

Hoping for
#2 in 2009 = 31
#3 in 2011 = 33


But as far as your question about high risk with age...I know plenty of women over 35 who have had healthy pregnancies and babies. My timeline had nothing to do with avoiding 35 - it just worked out that way.

I am 32 (will be 33 in February) and we are working on Baby #2. I had my dd when I just turned 31

As you know, I am the same age as you and we are trying for #2. My Dr said I am still young and have plenty of time, since we would like 2 more as well.

I just turned 32 two weeks ago

I had DS in 2007 when I was 30
We are trying for #2 and hopefully I will be 32

We don't know if we would go for the third just yet!

I'm 35...I'll tell you what my dr. told me which is that while age is important, there are many women in their 20s who don't take care of themselves and have a MUCH HARDER TIME TTC than women in their 30s who take care of themselves.
Genetics have a lot to do with it too.

I just turned 34 and am TTC #2. I feel young so I am trying not to think about the age thing too much.

I would love to have 3 so we;ll see what happens. DS as born when I was 31 1/2

I'm going to be 33 in a couple of days-yikes Anway, we have one and we' ve been trying for #2 but it's taking quite a while this time around which is beginning to make me nervous not about my age but about their ages b/c DD is 2 1/2 and I was hoping for kids 3 years apart. I guess we'll just have to see.
