Spaghetti and peas
what meat would you pair with it?
what other veggie?
was thinking tomato basil and mozz salad...something light and refreshing.
I am completely lost about meat though...

Re: Spaghetti and peas
what are you putting on your spaghetti and peas?
Do you want another veggie dish on the side or a meat dish?

I am probably going to sautee some pancetta...garlic, olive oil add the peas...hit it off with some parm...
I guess I need another meat...bacon bits aint enough for my hubby
and another vegg...b/c we need to be healthy
ETA: I thought about chicken cutlets, but with the oil in the pasta, I don't want to fry

Re: Spaghetti and peas
I was so thinking pancetta..excellent..
you can bake your cutlets or grill up some eggplant and peppers on the BBQ or on a grill pan with some olive oil and garlic. Include some nice meaty portobellas and you could actually get away without adding actual meat. Nice!! The other alt is adding some shrimp to your pasta.

Re: Spaghetti and peas
If you have to have meat, maybe add some chicken to your pasta and serve with a salad and garlic bread.

You seemed to have solved your problem, for future reference, thisis a great lighter chicken parm recipe.
unbreaded chicken parm
It uses a little oil, but there is no breading to absorb the oil. I also skip teh butter at the end, it didn't make much difference.
I have also used this herb combo & just grilled it & skipped the cheese & sauce.
