Spareribs in crockpot... any receipes?
Just bought the baby back ribs and was wondering how would I make this in the croockpot...I was thinking just put on a bottle of BBQ sauce, and simmer on low all day? Do I cut up the ribs in sections or leave them whole and just line them in a circle in the croclpot???

Re: Spareribs in crockpot... any receipes?
My DH does ribs in the crockpot all the time. I think he keeps them in for about 6 hours or so. If I remember correctly he puts them in the oven first (not for a long time at all - maybe 15 mins or so) then he takes them out, marinates them in a bbq sauce, and piles them into the crock pot. They are sooooo delcious and the meat falls right off the bone.
Dh is not home right now but if there is another step that I am missing I will let you know!

I cut up the individual ribs and throw in a bottle of BBQ sauce, maybe a tad of water...
depending on how many ribs....you may want to use more than 1 bottle of sauce.
Also, it may not take all day....ours usually fall right off the bone!
