Speaking of cars....can we talk scratches?

My black vehicle is only 3 years old but has tons of surface scratches around the handles. Drives me nuts!!!!

They aren't deep, but of course they show easily because my vehicle is black.

Have you any advice on fixing this?
I know I can buy some compound cream to buff it out with a rag, but I'm scared.

I will never get a black car again, I swear.
It looks so nice when it's clean and sparkly, but any other time, it looks like poo.

My car is 3 years old. It is a dark blue. Tons and tons of scratches. This weekend DH took it to the car wash. Then we buffed it. Then we waxed it. Then we buffed it again. Then we clear coated it.

Looks friggin brand new. You can BARELY see any scratches anymore. Took about 2 hours total and was cheap to do. Would've cost over $200 at a detailer. I will repaint my car at some point, but this was a great alternative.

If they are not deep, they can be buffed out.

Compund but only lightly and carefully or will ruin clear coat
