Re: Speaking of driving

Me

don't get me started on my DH - he thinks he is a better driver - but he is basically unisurable

and now I have to switch companies again- or add him to the policy- which we can't afford- if they would even take him

Me.
DH seemed to think none of his antics would ever catch up with him. RIGHT!
But slowly things are coming off and it's getting better.

Re: Speaking of driving

i think i do... no tickets for driving infractions (knock on wood), only on 10 years ago for a parking violation.

not sure if DH has ever gotten a ticket for speeding, etc... but if one of us were going to it would definitely be him Chat Icon

as for accidents, i think we've both had three.

Re: Speaking of driving

Definitely me - I only have one speeding ticket, he has more tickets than I can count. Yet, he says I don't know how to drive. Chat Icon

Re: Speaking of driving

If we are talking about our official driving records in Texas, he has the better record. If we are talking about Texas, Florida and New York, it is DEFINITELY me. Re: Speaking of driving

DH but I have been driving longer and have only had one accident that was determined my fault - which I still dispute. DH has none, so he wins.Chat Icon

Re: Speaking of driving

We each have one speeding ticket, but he had an accident and I never have... but according to him, I'm still the worse driver because once I scraped a pole.

Re: Speaking of driving

DH had some "infractions" in the past, and even tho I've had some speeding and parking tickets, my record is still better than his.

Re: Speaking of driving

I want to say me, but I think we're pretty even. DH gets pulled over a lot where he works because he usually ends up forgetting to put a license plate on the car. Neither of us have any tickets or moving violations or accidents.

Re: Speaking of driving

DH, but DH is a worse driver. Doesn't drive defensively at all unless DS is in the car. He got out of a few speeding tickets because his sis was a cop.

Re: Speaking of driving

I'll answer my own question.

me..DH has a few infractions that need to drop off the insurance.

He thinks he is the better driver and that I am lucky. He also drives more than I do, but I argue that he should be more practiced...Chat Icon
