Speaking of gyms...how much do you pay?
I went to a gym last week by my new house. I really liked it but it was $59.00 a month, plus $99 membership fee. Is this good?
I used to go to Lucille's and paid like 30 something a month!! It seems like highway robbery to me!
It's a girls club, but not curves...it's a full gym, just no boys in Jersey.

 holy crap! I cannot believe how much $$ gyms charge these days 
it's probably cheaper to buy your own equipment

I belong to Equinox. There was a $250 initiation fee when i joined a few years ago and it is $149 a month!!!! Work pays for it though - I don't think I could justify paying that much if I paid for it myself.

and then $30 a month.
But I signed up for it years ago

WOW, I'm glad I went AWOL on my gym. I was paying close to $100 bucks a month!!! Lucky for me they were nice and waived the initiation fee.

When we used to belong... we paid $25 a month at Dolphin Fitness in Amityville, I cant remember what the sign up fee was though

I just paid $313 for 18 months at Lucille, they were having a sale, I think the non sale was $379, these were the prices when you paid in full. I think the monthly payment plan was $29.99 a month

$150 down and $24 for ballys (the gym has spinning, aerobics, and a pool)
FH worked there when I was in college so I got a student membership - which they dont adverstise.
He worked there for about a month - he felt like a shady used car salesman. He sold a membership to an old lady she didnt need bc his boss was up his butt about not selling the higher rate memberships, so he quit after that bc he felt bad!
