Speaking of hungry babies...
Tell me I'm not the only one - I can't eat in front of Alex. No one can. In fact, if I really need to drink something or eat something while I'm tending to her, I have to turn my back and sneak it in. Why, you ask? Because she has an absolute FIT if you eat and don't share it with her. I mean, full-blown drama mamma fit. Doesn't matter if she just ate the biggest meal you can think of, if she sees food or a glass in your hand she'll run over to you, pound on your legs, go "AH AH AH AH" and reach out with her little hand until you give her some. And god forbid you say NO
Anyone else have a greedy little social eater?

Yup! Julia is the same, she can just get done eating her dinner and if my DH comes home late from work and had picked up dinner for himself, she will run over to him and want whatever he is eating--lol
Its funny but if shes sleeping and she wakes up and see's one of us eating, she will get all excited and point to the food and start yelling for it--lol

Miranda is like that at times. Her big thing is drinking what you are drinking out of whatever you are drinking out of. I drink crystal light and she watches me and cries "wa wa" (water). I try to explain it's not water and offer her some water but that doesn't always go over very well.

Us too... it's not good enough that you give her a drink, it has to be EXACTLY what you're drinking, in the exact glass. We've had some funny incidents, namely, DH giving her grapefruit juice, which, suprisingly enough, she liked

Re: Speaking of hungry babies...
Hailey and Zachary are complete opposites in this area - Hailey is such a little piggy. Nobody can be near her with any type of food and not give her any. She sill stand there pointing at you screaming "daa daa daa daa" until you give in. She will chase my 8 year old around the living room for whatever he has. Zachary could care less.

I love it!
Just yesterday I stopped in to visit Alex in class, and she started signing to me that she was hungry so I opened a fig newton. Another little boy came over and wanted some so I started giving him some while I was feeding Alex. OMG, I'll never do THAT again! Alex had a FIT!
