In case anyone is interested - the Today show is going to have a feature about the show and the stories behind it tomorrow morning during the 8:00 hour!

PearlJamChick- would you say this is kid-appropriate? For a 10 year old?

It's recommended for kids 10+...there are a few curse words used and of course, the content of the show can be heavy at times...but it's also a great portrayal of humanity at its best during a horrible time. I think a 10 year old would enjoy it.

Thanks Pearljam for the post!

I am going to purchase tickets for a certain date. How are the seats in this theater? Am I better off last row orchestra middle, halfway back on side orchestra (no aisle seats though), first row orchestra or somewhere Mezzanine?

I usually book orchestra center 4th, 5th row but all that is available in center is first row and last. Left and right orchestra is further back off to side. I'm afraid first row I will be lifting my head up the whole time and in the last orchestra, worried about mezzanine overhang obstructing my view.

I was able to get tickets after someone at a party I was at raved about it as well. I got left orchestra but close to the aisle. (Third and fourth seats from the aisle) so I grabbed it. It's like the 8th row. Otherwise, I saw the same- VERY FRONT or very back. I'm sure it's all a very small difference. Doesn't look like a very large theater.

Got the tickets. Turned out there were two seats left mid orchestra five rows from the last row. Enjoy!

Awesome! It's not your typical "jazz hands" musical. Enjoy!

(I'm writing this as I'm listening to the cast recording for probably the twentieth time this week.)

Just came from seeing today's matinee with one of my BFF's.
Phenomenal! Such an arrange of emotions you feel. Crying. Laughing. Crying and Laughing again. A beautiful story during the hardest of times. And a story I never heard of till this post! So thank you PJC for recommending it!!!

Speaking of theatre: Come From Away

Just saw this tonight. It was AMAZING! I've never heard such loud applause when a show ended and every single person jumped up for a standing ovation. What a phenomenal show.

I said the same. I was originally recommended to see the show by the wife of a friend who is a huuuuge Broadway buff, then coincidentally saw the raves on here. We saw the show two weeks ago and I never saw a crowd jump to their feet instantly like that before! (And we go to shows often!)

Saw it on Sunday. Thank you PearlJamChick!!!!! What an amazing story! And loved the way it was done - so simple yet so emotional. I think sometimes going in with high expectations can lead to disappointment, but I really can't say enough good things. Loved! Loved! Loved!
