Specialty Cakes for Parties - Please help if you can
Does anyone know a baker, either in Long Island or NYC who will do those types of specialty cakes/3D cakes like you see them make on Cake Boss?
My friend was going to surprise her boyfriend with one for his 30th birthday party but the woman she normally uses can't do it since its her sister's wedding. This woman works out of her home so she isn't able to reccoment anyone.
Any help would be appreciated!

check out cake don on facebook. just did my husbands graduation cake. they are amazing. or you can use St honore in port washington.

Corina Elgart - she ownes Taste in Syossett... I know her personally and she's amazing... And she was a finalist on the first season of Next Great Baker (w/the cake boss!). Fabulous work!

Audreys Bakery did a 3D grooms cake for me of our dog! It came out amazing and was delicious!!!!

My sister in law just used LuLu's in queens on union tpk for her son's first bday. the cake was beautiful , all in fondent and very good.
also try cakes by mona they are supposed to be good.

Lady J's Cakes. I wanted to use her for my RD groom's cake but she was already booked. Boo!
Last month, I ordered cookie flower pot centerpieces that also doubled as favors for my best friend's bridal shower. She also had her do her shower cake and it was beautiful and delicious. She is also doing her groom's cake through her too.
She is beyond sweet and great to work with. Reach out early because she is incredibly busy. Totally recommend. HTH!
