spent christmas money
i went to my favorite yarn store and i bought myself:
* yarn to make ds two pairs of socks
* yarn to make myself a scarf and matching hat
* two books
* and i ordered enough yarn to make myself a sweater
this year, i will be knitting only for those who appreciate the work that goes into knitting... myself and ds!!
i'm also going to learn russian knitting techniques, finally, i'm going to try creating my own patterns 
i can't wait to get started on all this stuff

can't wait to see what you create!
have you ever been on Ravelry? A friend of mine clued me in to it, and while I can't knit to save my life still (I keep trying!), it's fun to see what others do.
