Spent Thanksgiving in the hospital
with Cassidy.
She woke up yesteday morning with a fever of 101. Gave her some Tylenol and she was acting fine. Before her nap at 1 I gave her some more Tylenol, and when we woke her at 3, she was totally burning up...104.6 temp. and that was only 2 hours after her Tylenol.
We took her to the hospital and they did some x-rays to check for pneumonia, turns out it's just a nasty virus, but my poor baby is sooo pathetic. And allll she wants is her "Mama".
I just love that little girl so much. It breaks my heart to see her this way

Aww I hope she feels better soon. That stinks that you had to spend the holiday in the hospital with your little being sick.

Those fevers are scary, 104.5 is our 'average" in my house, my kids get high fevers, hope today is a better day for all of you!!

Thanks everyone.
I actually just called the Dr because even after switching off between Tylenol and Motrin every 3 hours, her fever is still over 104.

my kids run that type of fever for 3-4 days, don't worry, I bet by tomorrow she will better. lots of fluids

oh no. 104.2 or somewhere around there is normal for both my kids when they get a fever. my dd has been known to have a high fever like that for a couple of days. it will break soon and she will be feeling fine.i hope you saved her some turkey
