Sperry's....love them, hate them? What say you?
I initially hated Sperry's .......... but they're growing on me. Anyone have any input, good, bad, ugly? Are they comfy? Which ones do you own? Any pics? Best place to get them?

Oh...are these a summer shoe? Clueless about these, they are completely NOT my style!

i saw this on facebook and everytime i see someone wearing sperrys i have to giggle now.
i think theyre cute on the right person, super preppy IMO.

I don't have Sperrys but do have boat shoes---got them cheap from Steve Madden. They are very comfortable and hey, they are now only $20 on the site!

Yep a summer shoe. I wear mine with leggings, boyfriend jeans, shorts, anything really.

Love them but I dress preppy and we do have a boat lol. I think you could wear them in the fall if they were in fall colors.

Not my style, BUT... in case you want a pair for formal occassions...

i like a plain one for boating or around the house or for an errand. i live in a preppy town in CT, though, so they are common here. i dont care for them outside of that.

Love love love them on my 4 yr old preppy DS. I think they are cute for women when not too funky. They are very well made shoes.

I am a big fan, but I am also quite preppy and we do ALOT of boating. I think they cute and they are fashionable but I think it is silly if you don't use them at all for boating.

These are too cute!!!! I am torn on buying them. I wanted a comfy casual shoe for the winter and they seem a bit summery. I'm still confused! lol

I think of Sperrys for summer and I love the funky ones! I think the bright cool ones look adorable with a good white tee and shorts, or crops. I grew up on the water/boats though, so I am biased. I have tweed Toms that I wear in the winter. They have some really cute winter styles now. I usually wear the sparkly ones for "special" events like bachelorette parties, going dancing, and any time I am going out and want to be festive but don't want to wear heels (95% of the time).

my whole fam wears them
but we live in outerbanks area.
they are all over.
i have brown
dh has a greyish color
boy has light brown
girl has metalic pink
we got a good deal at the outlet

Agree. On women a HUGE no IMO no matter how preppy you are. My 5yo boy (who I love them on) and I should not be wearing the same shoes

OK I think i'm just going to pass on the Sperry's. Too many mixed reviews and the comment above about the little boy shoes is not the look i'm going for lol
