Spike the Ultra Dinosaur - anyone getting this for DC?
It's $129 but....it gets 5 star reviews and I am so sick of toys with lots of pieces. My DS is 2 1/2 and loves dinos. Part of me doesn't want to spend that on a toy but by the time I buy him a few smaller ones it will add up and I honestly don't even think he will know or care if he has 1 or 2 toys on Christmas morning. Just wondering if I'm the only one considering this toy.

I keep seeing it everywhere! Lauren is so freaked out by it when she hits the button on the display!! If you think M will not be freaked over it (its loud!), go for it!!

My son will be 2.5 at Christmas. We were looking at that in Target last week. He was so into it. We're not getting it, his big gift this year is a train table and trains. Maybe for his birthday this summer.

That thing freaked me out in the store DD is too young for this (15 months), but I have a friend whose 3 year old wans it more than anything.

He's seen the display and is definitely not afraid of it. I've been hesitating to commit to buying it. Now that I checked and it's getting rave reviews, I think I am going to get it.

DS got a kick out of the display at TRU but i think he may be too small for it...hes 18 months...if he shows me more interest. then maybe for his bday...

My DH saw it, loved and had to have it for my DS. I already have it in the closet. I bought it directly from Fisher Price as they were running a 15% off special. Look for the offers.
I think DH is more excited than DS will be but my DS does LOVE dinosaurs.

We're getting this for K! I have the 20% off one item coupon for TRU so that will bring it closer to $100!  I haven't seen it anywhere for less than $130...

I bought Spike a few months ago for my 3 1/2 year old son, my 1 yr old DD also loves the display so i think they will both enjoy it.
