Spin off - Sippy cups
When was your child totally off of the sippy cup? DD still uses them and she is 27 months
She can use a straw cup or a regular cup but she mostly uses the sippys
When you stoped using the sippy, did you use a straw cup with a lid or just a regular open cup?
TIA

Re: Spin off - Sippy cups
Jeremy still uses them at home! We give him a plastic cup to drink water out of when he is sitting and eating but for the most part, there is a lid! It is generally a straw cup for water and a sippy for milk.
ETA: Jeremy is 33 months (will be 3 in September )

Re: Spin off - Sippy cups
We've just started working on this. DD uses a sippy and the straw ones interchangeably, it's the no lid cups we are working on. It's going to take a while but I was hoping that by 2.5- 3 she would be off the regular sippy (I don't have a problem with the straw one since that's a skill they can use throughout their lives, though I don't want to have to rely on it).

I don't plan on taking away the sippy/straw cups anytime soon
