The closest I can claim to a famous "friend" is D a v e M a t t h e w s.
We've hung out many times; spoken on the phone...I used to have his phone number. It's been a few years now that we haven't been in touch but if we crossed paths on the street he would know me by name.
You have the best famous friend of all! I'm so jealous!!

I have a friend who went to highschool with Lady Gaga. Apparently she's really smart and yes, she is female or at least has been since highschool.
My sister went to the same school. She was a couple of years older than Gaga. My sister was actually assigned to be her upperclassmen "mentor", sort of like a big sister thing. My sister claims she is the one who told her to go after her dreams. Gaga was very serious about building a career even back then and worked very hard.

I'm also friends with a cast member of Entourage.
Hubby is friends with Dave Salerno (Bronx Tale), Marky Ramone, James Gandolfini, Mark Messier.
Ahhh DH would be so jealous! He is a HUGE Messier fan!

DH was friends with Kevin Connolly in HS. We ran into him in a bar not long ago so I met him then but otherwise, they didn't KIT.
I used to hang out in the same circle as Desmond Harrington in high school (Uncle Jack on GG and I think on Dexter now).
Actually Lillo Brancato (Bronx Tale) used to hang in the same bars as I did back in HS too but happy to say I wasnt friends with him 
ETA: How could I forget this one? My sorority sister plays Rebecca on Greek... except her FB page claims she was 12 when we pledged (at least imdb got it right  )

I know Colin Egglesfield (formerly of Melrose place fame) and model, Lane Carlson. they both played on my team in a social sport league. I'm better friends with Lane.
I went to high with David Tutera's (My Fair Wedding) sister. He was much older than us.

I knew Morrie. I went to Brandeis and he retired after my freshman or sophmore year. I went to a few events he was at and my roomate was his TA.
My aunt knew Mitch Album (author of Tuesdays with Morrie) - she also went to Brandeis.

My girlfriends ex husband is couisns with bethenny frankel.
Her sister's ex brother in-law is Richie Sambora physical therapist, and also for the LA Dogers.
and her friends brother is the driver for howard stern.
oh and gregg allman shops in my jewelery store.

Yes, we are related to Joe Bonsall, of the Oakridge Boys. My Brother met Joe, and the others, and had a chat with Joe, and his picture taken with the group!!! Think we're related to Brian Bonsall, as well. Mary

when I was little, my neighbor across the street was friends with that kid "Chip" from Kate and Allie and I played with him a couple of times.
DH grew up in the same building with "Chip". He is still friends with one of his sisters. He tortured him when they were growing up.

My dad grew up with Billy Crystal they played ball together all of the time & I went to school & friends with his niece. I briefly dated a Football player Detroit Lions Middle linebacker & he was in the ProBowl several times.
I also worked in entertainment & met ALOT of big famous people. But they arent my "friends"
My friends sister is married to Brian Leetch of the NY Rangers.
DH's cousin dated Debbie Gibson. LOL
