Spin off to washing clothes...what about sterilizing bottles!?!?

How far in advance do you sterilize bottles and pacifiers? I am hoping to breastfeed....but should i have the bottles sterilized just in case? If so, how far in advance?

Thanks!

Once you sterilize and take them out in the open air, they are not longer sterile. I would wait until you get home with the baby.

the instant the air hits them - nothing is sterile any longer. wait until you're going to use them.

for all items - i use the munchkin sterilizer bags - 90 seconds in the microwave and all is done.

my Mom ran them through the dishwasher for me when i was in the hospital. We didn't use them for the first week anyway - we had enough bottles from the hospital :)
