Spinoff - Britax owners, a question

The Britax Bouevard seat I wanted to get DS comes with the CS option or without. The CS option means that the straps will CLICK when you've tightened them enough for safety. The ones without CS obviously you have to just tighten to your own discretion.

I can get the version withOUT CS for $70 less right now. I'm not sure it's worth it to get the CS for $70 more. We were gifted the money specifically for his carseat so I COULD get the CS version. Or I could save it and use it for DS' bank account or to buy him something else.

So, is the CS option worth it? I thought it was, but I'm wondering now if it's fine not to have it.

I have had 4 Britax Marathons and never heard of the "CS option". Not sure if that is something specific to the Boulevard or across all Britax...
Sorry!

3 britax carseats no click and they are great. Save the $70.

I have the click version, we like it bc we know when it is too tight on them. You just have to make sure you take out the extra slack (like any carseat)

Re: Spinoff - Britax owners, a question

The CS option is just a gimmick. I've read numerous reports of it clicking too soon, not clicking at all and clicking too late. The clicking will not affect the fit or function of the seat if it doesn't work.

The harness is tight enough when you can not pinch the straps at the collarbone.

Save the money.

true-you still have to check the seatbelt bc it is not always fitted correctly.
