spinoff - how many ounces was your infant eating (UPDATE - spoke to ped)
at 3-3 1/2 months
KJ eats between 40-45 oz a day
is this too much or should I just continue to feed him as much as he wants to eat?
he is about 14 lbs or so (just estimating based on his last weight of 13 lbs at 2 months)
UPDATE
I spoke with the ped and they said that he is fine, right on target, here is the info she gave me
Between 2-3 months, baby should be eating 4-7x a day and 4-8oz per feeding (between 16-56oz - BIG RANGE THERE)
and then between 3-6 months, baby should be eating 4-6 times, and 6-8oz per feeding (24-48oz)

I'm unsure how many ozs DS is eating because he's EBF, but he just has his 8 wk appt & was weighed in at 14lbs 4ozs. I'd assume he's eating about the same & the doctor was very happy with his progress & health.

my DS eats about 36 - 42 oz a day.
He takes 6 oz every 4 hours. He is 3 months old. I don't know what the "right" amount is, but I just give him what he wants at this point!

Sounds like a lot to me at that age. You may want to check with the pediatrician. At 4 months some babies start cereal and the formula intake usually goes down a bit.

I guess my DD (3 months) is a peanut! She's drinking 5 bottles of 5 oz pumped BM. She also nurses once a day for a few minutes. I'm guessing she takes in about 28-30 oz of milk per day. She was 11 pounds at her last visit and is gaining about an ounce a day.

Sophia was 3 months yesterday   
she typically eats 5-6 5oz bottles/day so about 25-30oz/day. from 3 weeks old to last week she had been getting rice cereal in every bottle, but we were able to take her off of it last week. her AR is MUCH better than its been!
she weighs about 13.5lbs
she'll join KJ and James on the chunky baby train  
i wouldnt change her thigh rolls for all the money in the world
