SPINOFF: 11-13 week test. What happens when you go for your results?
We have to go back and meet with a Genetic Counselor to get the results. What do they go over and tell you?

I called for my results and was told all was good. We didn't have to meet with anyone.

ditto. I have an online system with my doctors where they tell me the results through their database. The doctor wrote a note saying it was normal so that was it.

I was told by my doctor, over the phone. I had an appt. not long after that, so we discussed them in more detail at the next visit.

My MD gave me the bad news over the phone. At my next appointment he recommended amnio. I never met with a genetic counselor at all.

I have to go through this with my second in a couple of weeks, which I find kind of annoying. 
With my first, they called me and gave me the results over the phone, but I was also with a different practice.

we got our results the same day when we met with the specialist after the test.....we had the bloodwork done ahead of time

i met with a genetic counselor who did this chart thing of the entire extended family and any associated illnesses. the counselor told me my results and then suggested other screening tests that were available if i was interested. i did not opt for the other tests because my results were very good.
