Spinoff: BEST chocolate chip cookies!
I made AWESOME chocolate chip cookies this weekend using a recipe from Brown Eyed Baker
They are nice and big (scant 1/4 cup of dough in each cookie) with chocolate bits in every bite! A bit crisp at the edges, but ooey gooey soft inside! MMMM.
and while I'm sharing... I made vanilla bean cupcakes with chocolate ganache frosting... mmmm too!

I made a make-shift double boiler.... and just dipped and swirled the cupcakes into the ganache.
It was so easy!
I think I want to try to make them into hot fudge sundae cupcakes.... with stabilized whipped cream, sprinkles & a cherry on top!

Lord Hayley, you're killing me here. Chocolate chip cookies are my all time favorite!
I think a baking/food GTG is a great idea!

I made these last night. Fantastic. Just awesome! The boys only needed one each because they were so big.. but of course Rob had 2. And then.. after breakfast.. Rob had 2 more this morning!
