spinoff: Do you have the names of your future kids picked out?
im sure has been done before....
our first girl will either be Lola or Stella
i would like to give her the middle name Kevyn.
Lola Kevyn or Stella Kevyn
i just like it.
boys we do not have picked out yet.
eta: for boys i like Wolfgang, Sebastian & Elvis..... dh doesnt like them tho

Girl is most likely Kathryn Elizabeth, but we have been throwing Grace and Guiliana around lately, don't know about a boy.

no, I have used all the cool names on my dogs
OK seriously...I don't really think about it. Like I have names that when I hear them I like them, but since we are still not sure if we are going to have kids I don't ever really think about it.

My brother is Kevin James--I LOVE that name
I always said that my kids names would be:
Alyssa Rose or Alyssa Jean
John Joseph (JJ for short)
But, now that I am pg, that is not how it is coming out. DH and I both fell in love with other names

I was surprised that DH liked it but I think spelling it Michaela is better and he is not crazy about that spelling. UGH men !!!!
Did you have any ideas for a middle name with Michaela?

Same with us. We'll have a much easier time picking out a dog's name than names for our future children. The one thing he wants is a Frank IV, which I really really don't want. I told him I'll compromise if he comes up with a name to call our future son b/c I don't want 2 Franks in the house.

I've loved the name Emma Rose for years - but I swear after Rachel had her baby on Friends the name Emma became so popular that now I'm rethinking that. (my dad's grandmother's name was Rose and my mom's grandmother was Emma...which is why I loved the names - I've always thought it was nice to name your children after relatives.) Which is why I am now thinking about the name Sydney Rose (FH's favorite uncle died after we started dating and his name was Sidney).
Boys names are a whole other topic - I love the name Jackson or Jake...but FH is not a fan. My mom's name is Jackie and my grandfather used to call her Jake and her brother calls her Jackson. So I thought that would be nice...(my mom is still alive by the way)

I always LOVED Emma and said that would be my daughter's name. So, when I got my doggie I named her Emma -- and no one had that name! Then, Rachel named her baby that and now I hear it all the time!

I named my dog "Benny" after Ben Affleck - I wasn't thinking far enough ahead to the future that I would actually like that name for a little boy!
