I do notice WHO posts on my threads...but it varies quite a lot so i can't say i KNOW everyone who does
Those who don't...NOPE...i really don't notice at all..
honestly...i think it is sad that people pay that much attention to their own threads to notice such things as who "doesn't" post on your thread
i mean....how MANY posters are on this site for someone to point people out like that
IMO i think that those people are kinda OVERLY needy
i mean....who cares who doesn't post on a thread

I actually agree with Red about not watching posts but everyone else seemed to be watching their threads. I dont start threads in hopes that everyone reads my threads. For me its not about popularity its all done in fun. Really, I feel bad if someones threads got 500 views and no responses. Usually the reason people create threads is bc they want advice, need info or in general just want to have conversation. If its totally irrelevant to me like lets say a football game I wont read it but I wont intentionally not respond bc of the person. I just dont pay attention to the person as much as I do the information or advice they give or need themselves. For those that continuously answer my questions posted...I am grateful bc I know that they are trying to be as helpful as I would be to everyone else on here.

I do agree with this... I don't notice what individual person responds or doesn't respond. But I do notice when there are a few posters that will post something get a ton of hits, no responses. This has happened to me quite a few times, half the time, I just delete the post and move on. I'm far from needy. But then there are those posters that post, and if nobody responds within 5 minutes they are bumping the thread again... to me... THAT's needy

and i must say...i respond to all posts that i find interesting or what not
regardless of what i think of the poster

ets: I dont feel the need to pay attention to who wants to post on my threads. B.c certain threads attract to other people... noone has the same likes and dislikes.. people are going to post to threads that interest them I think

On a really funny note...there is actually a poster...you would so know if it were you so dont think "is it me" but ...this poster writes something, gets offended by no one answering, answers their own posting, thanks everyone for reading it and not answering them, and the same repition occurs over and over again. I dont think anyone deliberately doesnt answer this person but its hilarious to watch how obnoxious at times this person can get. I continue to answer this person when I feel they need my help but I just think its really funny and interesting to see.

i honestly CAN"T STAND people who think this way
who actually notice people who do not post on their threads...as if some are doing it purposefully or spitefully
there are just sooo many reasons why one may or may not post on a thread that to assume that someone goes out of their way to aviod said threads...is kinda silly
i am not saying that there aren't people who do this....i am sure there are a lot...
BUT i would bet that most....are purposeful

not to beat a thread to death BUT...I was just thinking...if people notice that some threads get 0 responses isnt it better to get 0 responses with 40 views then lets say 25 responses with 700 views? IMO...that means more people are looking at the 25 response post to see what kind of drama is brewing.

Honestly, I post when I want.
I try to be as diplomatic as possible with my word choices to spare feelings when I can. If I do not agree with someone, I try not to become belligerent. It only makes a person look foolish and I find it unnecessary.

yes, a lot of times those are mine unless I post a really good conversation starter (like the one about how you would feel if you have a gay child. That got a lot of responses.)
