Spinoff from circumcision -- if you're Jewish
Are you having a bris? I'm not Jewish, DH is, so if we have a boy we're going to have make a decision about this. Just wondering the pros/cons of the bris, especially in an inter-faith marriage (we don't go to synagogue and plan to raise our children in an inter-faith manner).

Re: Spinoff from circumcision -- if you're Jewish
My husband and I are also an interfaith couple. I'm Jewish, he's Catholic. My husband is not very religious and can't even remember that last time he went to church. When our son was born we had a bris. The agreement being that our son will celebrate the Catholic holidays. My husband is happy with this agreement. DS is only 13 months so who knows if this agreement will work when gets older.
My husband's family actively participated in the bris ceremony. I spoke with the rabbi beforehand and he had no problem with his family being involved.
We have a full-finished basement so we had the bris in our house. The moyel was great. Let me now if you need a recommendation.
