actually, something VERY similar happened to me twice.
once on a bus in Cancun (though I suspect there were A LOT of ladies that this has happened to in Cancun)
and another was on the B63. I was going to a wedding that my then-boyfriend didn't want to go to.
so I went, dressed to the 9's and looking quite awesome, on the bus. and the bus driver was VERY kind to me. 
ETA: in Brooklyn, they'd rather crash than throw a hot girl off the bus...especially is she's not your run-of-the-mill 5th ave skank.

Not quite that bad but I have caused delivery men on bikes to crash into poles and cars.
