Spinoff: How tall was DC when you turned their car seat Forward facing (added DS pic :)
DH thinks DS needs to face forward bc he is very tall and thinks he is uncomfy but when i put him in the seat he is fine. He just turned One and I want to hold off as long as i Can.

How do i make DH understand I am doing whats best for DC?

Yeah I don't remember what it called either.. maybe just put in car seat safety or something and see what comes up.. or someone on here Im sure will post a link!

I did his first birthday pics. I have just been so busy that id idnt post any of them on here yet or show progression pics and he was ONE on 10/29/10. They are on my Facebook page though. he had a great time we did some in a cute "fancy" outfit and some cake smashing.

The new guidelines say you should keep your DC rerar facing until 2. I would imagine the only issues with height would be whether or not they are too tall for the rear facing guidelines of the car seat.
Look up the height limit for rear facing in your car seat and if DS is not that tall yet, show it to your DH and tell him that your DS can stay rear facing.

Its ok Linda, it actually helped brighten up my day bc DH made me really upset about this matter this morning.
This pic is my favorite. He did it all on his own bc he couldnt pick up the cake. Image Attachment(s):
