Spinoff--if your child is attached to some object, what is it?
As I said in an earlier post, Katherine needs to sleep with Blue Bunny and "Baa," her little stuffed lamb. I actually think it's kind of cute and I admit, sometimes I "forget" to give her the lamb before bed just so I can hear her insist, "Baa!!"
Baa is filthy and I'm petrified to ruin it in the wash!
Her bizarre attachment, however, is a teal zip-up sweatshirt. Whenever she sees it, she MUST have it. Actually, she's strangely attached to all jackets...she was stuffed into 3 this morning...she forced me to do it!

Green bunny. He has had it since he was four months old and is so attached to it, he is three now. If we go someplace, green bunny goes too. When he had tubes put in last year, green bunny had tube too, and bandaids as well. My daughter used to have a doll named Elizabeth....She named her that. Elizabeth went everywhere we went. When me and DH got married, Elizabeth was there and even had a dress to match Garrett's dress. My mom made it for her and her doll.

Her baby. SIL got her one of those cheapie WalMart babies one time when we were in NY and they were at the store. She is completely attached to it and we cannot go anywhere or do anything without it. Thank goodness she washes well.

She's not really attached to one specific thing but she must have at all times "something" in her hand. Be it a toy, a crayon, whatever. It's a struggle every morning to get her out of the house; she must decide on what she "needs" for the ride

DS has a blankie he loves, its blue on one side, green on the other and he calls it "My blue blankie and my green blankie" all together just like that.
He'll be in bed and say Mommy I need my blue blankie and my green blankie. We think its so funny.

For the ride to my mom in the morning it is a little plastic golf ball. I think it is cute.
