Spinoff of Day Light Savings Time...Computers!
Is anyone else having server issues at work with Day Light Savings time and Outlook Calendar. I'm on the phone constantly with IT and they can't seem to help, but if our secretaries make an appointment for us at 9 am it is appearing on my calendar at 10 am. I can't wait for day lights savings time but this year its killing me!
Does anyone else have this problem?

Your IT department needs to update their servers, your desktop and applications in order to work properly with the daylight savings time changes.
Your home PCs also need to be updated (unless you are running Vista).

The IT people said they can't install a patch until next Sunday when the time changes - but we are obviously making appointments and meetings now for the next few weeks.
Argh. Vent over.

The microsoft patches are available now - and can be applied at anytime. They don't need to wait until the time changes to apply the patches. They have been available since December.

Our firm installed the patches but they were doing the whole job. We had to re-write to code to accommodate us. We had to change all of our re-occuring meetings and do the 1:1s manually.

The patch just came through here today.
Of course, it then changed everything to the wrong times and they had to do a second patch.
All day has been a series of emails and then recalled emails.

Thanks everyone - at least we're not alone. IT did say we can't install our individual patches because they need to do something so that the patch applies to our network. That's pretty much where he lost me.
