Spinoff of Rachel's post: what is your favorite thing that DS does right now??

I know we've done it before, but it's fun!

I have 3:

1. I love when DS brings me a book to open and then he "reads" it

2. I love that he dances and sings, especially that he has learned to dance in his crib

and

3. I love his hugs lately

Robbie cocks one eyebrow when you say something 'off' to him. I think it is the CUTEST thing.

His backyardigans dance. He does it almost exactly like them.

And his big smooshy open mouth kisses. and hugs where he makes noises cause he is hugging so tight.

I love when she gets excited and claps her hands!

Also when you talk to her she tilts her head like she is really listening to what you have to say

1. Her big sloppy open mouth wet kisses which she only gives to her mama...

2. When she plays shy guy and smiles and turns her head off to the side & down still smiling...

3. She started sticking her tongue out again, but this time it's full tongue, and it's cocked off to the side...

I love when I'm reading her bedtime story to her and she "reads" along with me...making up her own words as we go along!

I love that now that he is crawling and pulling up he is all over the place but every couple of minutes he comes back to me and wants me to pick him up, give him a kiss and put him back down so he can be on his way again.

I love his little voice and I love hearing him talk. I love that he listening and repeating so many words that we're saying.

Today I loved that when I showed him two shirts to wear, he pointed to one and said "tie-ger". I didn't know he even knew that word.

And I love making him repeat the word apple. He says "aa-pull." It's just adorable.

I love when DD is dancing & wiggles her whole body instead of just swaying back & forth.

I love the way she takes my face in her hands & gives me a Big Wet kiss on the lips.

I love that she gives me eskimo kisses.

I love when she is eating dinner & when she is full just starts laughing hysterically at anything we do. Even if we just look at her. Then of course we start laughing & she can't stop herself.

And yes, I laugh hysterically when she farts because she smiles right afterwards as if she had a secret that nobody knew!

I love every single little thing my DD does.

But the highlights are:

1. Walking (it was a long time coming!)

2. Her incessant "talking"

3. When she purposely throws her milk (or food) off the high chair and says "uh oh" with a look of complete innocence (I tell her "no" sternly, but laugh on the inside )

~the way he says "mama" (like an old italian man)
~ how he hugs me and then pats my back
~ how he gently strokes my face out of no where

i just love this kid so much!

Ok, I have to add more of the things I love that she's doing because she's so damn adorable these days!

-When the sun starts to go down, she INEVITABLY goes to the window and says, "It's not goodnight time! It's good morning time!" because she knows bedtime is coming. Every, single night, like clockwork she says it

-She makes up these fantastic stories about all sorts of things. Today it was about an elephant that went dancing or something silly like that

-All she wants to do is help. Help with anything and everything that I'm doing, so I have her doing little chores for me and it's the cutest thing ever. She gets so proud of herself

Her toothless smiles!

Her random vocal expressions

Her facial expressions.. the way her eyebrows move up, down or frown.

The way she kicks her feet and waves her arms when she's happy and 'dancing' in her crib.

Out of nowhere, she'll say "Mama, I love you". Or if I left for a little while when I get back she'll tell me that she missed me

Since she started nursery school whenever I pick her up she sees me and practically screams "Mommyyyyyyyy!!!!"

DS is 3 months old.

i LOVE how he makes a HUGE smile when anyone smiles at him! and he's starting to laugh out loud...cracks me up everytime!

SO many!!!

DS
1- when it's time for bed,,,I will lay down with him for a few minutes and he says "mommy, I hugs you" He reaches over, places his arm around me and says "awwwwwww"

2-When he sings the Little Einsteins theme song. I love when he does the countdown...5,4,3,2,1!! He's my little einstein

3-When I tell him that I have something for him he says "what...tell me tell me mommy"

Just the way he speaks,,so sweet and innocent, myheart melts with every sentence that comes out of his mouth! He is just so loving, I can literally sit and watch him action ALL day long!!


DD

1- In the morning, she wakes up cooing and the minute she sees me, I get a smile from ear to ear!

2- The excitement in her eyes when she sees her brother

3- The way she goes crazy in her jumperoo..she is jumping maniac

1. He sings Happy Birthday

2. If I am sitting on the floor he comes over and sits in my lap

3. When I read to him at night every so often he looks up at me while I read and smiles

1. That he answers everything now with, "Yeah, okay."

2. That when he hears music he head bangs for a couple beats.

3. When we sitting together, he either grabs my necklace or my hand and idly plays with it in his hand.

I love when she

1. comes up and kisses me without provocation (sp)

2. When she says "alright" when I tell her to do something

3. When she calls for me in the morning "momma, up..momma...mommmmaaaaaa......"

1. When he comes up to me gives me this big smile and hugs me.

2. When he grabs a book brings it to me and say "Sank you (thank you) mamma". His way of asking me to read to him.

3. When he says "bye bye I seen nu" His way of saying "bye bye i'll see you"...

When Caden is naughty he gets a firm *NO* to keep himself from crying he closes his eyes, breathes in really deep through his nose, and then lets it out in a huge exhale through his mouth. He's such a tough little dude......
