Spinoff: organic farm co-op?

My friend does this in CT and I really would like to join one here. Can someone recommend one?

Where are you located? We're doing one in Suffolk. THere are like 8 p/u locations throughout Suffolk.

We went in on one w/BIL & SIL. There's an organic farmstand out east, the Golden Earthworm. Their website is goldenearthworm.com. We're so excited to start it this year (our first year). We got the biggest plan but will be splitting it 50/50 with BIL & SIL!

They also do fruit co-op thru Briermere, where it's not 'organic', but 'responsibly grown local fruit'. I wanted all organic, but this was the best I could find out East for fruit.

There is one in Amityville (I think) on the grounds of a Church. YOu have to join for the year. I went with my mother last summer, you join and you get to choose from their vast array of produce and you also get to pick certain stuff. I will look into it for you.

The Golden Earthworm has central delivery spots throughout Nassau and Suffolk, and I think a couple are even in Queens
