Re: Spinoff: Shaving Cream and Eggs on Halloween

I never went egging or on battle wars, but I have thrown eggs out of my window out my apt. Not out of cruelty, but to get people away from loitering by my window.

PS: Eggs ARE dangerous.

A 13-year-old trick-or-treater was blinded in one eye when laughing Halloween pranksters hurled an egg at him from a Hummer in a tony Long Island town, cops said yesterday.
As police fanned out across Woodbury in search of the sports utility vehicle, the victim, an athlete and honor student, was racked with fear that he may never see out of his right eye again.

"They don't know if he will have permanent damage. There's no vision at all," said the victim's mother, who asked that her son's name not be printed.

The injured youth, who lives in Oyster Bay Estates and is an eighth-grader at South Woods Middle School in Syosset, was out with friends Monday when their fun night of trick-or-treating took an ugly turn.

"He was blind-sided," the boy's mother said, adding that her son's eye is so full of dark blood it looks like "an eight ball."

"He never saw anything coming," she added. "And the last thing he heard was them laughing."

Police were searching last night for the silver Hummer H2 believed to belong to a local parent, said Nassau County Detective Lt. Steven Skryneckia.

Skryneckia said that up to four teenagers were in the car and had egged other trick-or-treaters in the area.

The victim's parents pleaded for the pranksters to surrender and accept punishment.

"There is a parent out there who knows whose car that is," the victim's father said. "They have to step up to the plate because morally this is wrong and this should never happen again to any child."

Police asked that anyone with information call them at (800) 244-TIPS.

I did the shaving cream thing one year with my friends - but we "fought" with each other - never threw anything at anyones houses.

On a related note, I was in the drugstore for some toiletries on Monday night and there was no shaving cream left!!!!! It was honestly on my list!
