Spinoff to 3-4 month old bedtime...
As a spinoff to Jenna's what time are our 3-4 month olds going to sleep, what is your day like overall? How many naps? How many feedings? Is your DC sleeping through the night? Do you have a "schedule"?

Re: Spinoff to 3-4 month old bedtime...
Emerson (5 months) is a terrible napper so it's hard to schedule a specific nap time. She is a light sleeper during the day and when she does nap she wants to be held. (Thank god she's not like that at night) So basically she naps whenever I can get her to. Sometimes it's for a few hours but sometimes it's only for a few minutes. She usually wants to rest about 2hrs after a feeding. She does sleep through the night (and has been since 7 1/2 weeks) from 8-7.
She has a 7oz. bottle every 3-4 hrs. UNLESS she had solids (cereal AND a fruit or veggie) then she goes 4-5hrs. between feedings.
I haven't really had to schedule with her, she created her own little routine which really works out well during the day.

Re: Spinoff to 3-4 month old bedtime...
Aidan is 19 weeks and he wakes up around 7 AM and eats during the week. If he wakes up before, we let him play in the crib with the mobile so that we can get ready for work. He eats and then plays a little more. He goes to my sister's house (she watches him) and he generally naps between 8-9 AM. This nap is usually about an hour long. He'll wake up and eat around 10-10:30 AM and play some more. He then naps between 12-1 PM. He'll eat about 2 PM and then he'll play again. I pick him up about 4 PM and I'll play with him when I get home. He eats around 5 PM and will play a little more until bed. We bathe him every other day. He goes down for the night between 7-8 PM and will wake around 11 PM to eat. He falls right back asleep and will sleep until 6-7 AM. DS is breast fed only.
So, he eats between 5-6 times a day and sleeps at least 5 hours at a stretch (more like 6-7 hours).

Re: Spinoff to 3-4 month old bedtime...
DD is 3 mths, and eats about 7oz every 3.5-4 hours during the day. She naps about 2 2-3 hr naps during the day in her swing mostly. I do tummy time, mat time, bouncy seat and swing. I keep her inclined for about 1 hr after each feeding, in the swing or bouncy seat. I also bathe her almost everyday (but not wash hair daily) as she really likes the bath and i figure it's good for her head/neck strengthening and just as an activity. Any activities that she can build neck strength (even sitting on my lap or being carried in my arms upright) are what I try to do. My DD is big, so I need her neck to get strong asap b/c she is heavy to carry and needs to hold her own head up strong, asap!
Just last week, she started sleeping through the night from around 8pm -700 or 800am, in her crib. It's like pure heaven! I am so happy, I am back in my bed now (I was sleeping in her room on a blow up bed).
I feel like we FINALLY have a schedule and a daily activity plan.

Re: Spinoff to 3-4 month old bedtime...
Nicholas is 3 months 3 weeks old. He eats 5-6 ounces every 3-4 hours. He wakes for the day around 7 am, sometimes we can get him to sleep until 8 am. He has a bottle and DH plays with him for a couple of hours before he leaves for work at 11 am. Then he usually takes a 1 hr. nap around 11. Then he's up with mommy playing all day until late afternoon when he takes another 1 hour nap. He also takes short naps (5-10 min) here and there in between. We do a bath around 7:30 because he really enjoys it. Then after one last bottle he goes down for the night between 8-9. He is a night owl and not the best sleeper, he is up a couple of times a night and mommy is tired! Last week he slept 7 hours straight and it was so nice after 3 months of no sleep. Usually the most we get out of him is one 4-5 hour stretch, bottle, then back down until he wakes for the day. Ever since his 3 1/2 month shots last week his schedule got all wacky so I'm trying to get back to the good thing we had going.

This is basically my day except my boys do not sleep through the night. I feed them at 11, 3am(trying to get rid of this one) and again at 6:30-7a Also they eat more like 5.5 or 6 oz-maybe thats why?

Re: Spinoff to 3-4 month old bedtime...
My DD is 4 months old. She wakes up between 6-6:30am. She has 5 bottles a day about every 3 hours. Usually 6:00, 9:00, 12:00, 3:00,& 6:00. She usually naps after she is up 1.5 hours for about an hour. So she takes 3-4 naps a day. She goes to sleep between 6:00-6:30pm.
ETA- She drinks 6 oz bottles.
