Being that DS' bedroom is upstairs, I always used it for nap time for him until he was about 4 months old (maybe older).
I use it for travel and if he's having an uncomfortable night we put it in our room and he will sleep in it.
IMO it's worth keeping it.

I am using mine as a bassinette, so it's getting used all of the time. We will also use it for visiting Grandma, travelling, etc.
eta: we also have a small apartment.

Only used it a few times with DS (we went to FL when he was 4 months and again at 15 months)

once or twice outside so we could do some yard work.

Grandma has my sisters PNP at her house for diaper changes.

we never used it in our own house but always use it when we sleep at other peoples' houses or at hotels.

I used the bassinet the first 3-3.5 months. Then, he didn't care for the playpen, so we didn't use it much. Now at 5 months, he can grab more of his toys himself, so he likes being in the playpen part. I use it when I shower, and when the weather is nice, I'll probably bring it in the yard sometimes.

We didn't use it too much in the beginning, but use it all the time for traveling. And we are about to start using it all thew time in the living room because he's 8 months and on the move. playmats don't work anymore.
