Spinoff to buying tix in advance..How does Fandango work?
I want to buy sex and the city tickets for Friday nights late show at my local theater. I never heard of this site before but since others said they have used it, I am thinking of using it too.
How does it work? They email the tickets and you print them out? Are the tickets the same price on there as at the theater? Thanks so much!!

There is usually a kiosk at the theatre that you put your credit card in and it validates the sale and prints your tickets.
There is usually a 2 dollar surcharge per ticket to use one of the online buying sites.

I just bought SATC tickets through Fandango too. They charged me $1 fee per ticket.

moviephone, fandango are similar... you purchase online...its paid... you go to theather, normally a kiosk like ATM machine, you put your credit card you used to buy online in, and it prints your tickets. Don't wait on the normal line...
its that easy

The first time we did it, we printed out the tickets at home and continued to wait online. When we got up to the teller, he said that you don't have to wait, you just go right up, give your tickets and skip the whole line.
