While Clinton was a great president.... I truly believe he is partially to blame for 911.
Even though it actually happened on Dubya's watch... Clinton seriously cut back on tons of intelligence funding. This is one of the reasons why the economy improved (lack of spending).
But spending on intelligence IMO should never be cut. People can say all they want "they knew this was going to happen". But they would have been better prepared for exactly HOW it would happen if they had better intelligence reports.
If you look back..Daddy Bush directed the money toward military spending on the Gulf war not intelligence spending. Clinton came in and cut that back. Bush Jr comes in and did nada for either. Then all of a sudden we were at war...up the spending again.

The primary issue with all previous Admins was the willingness to handle terrorism as a criminal act, and not an act of war. Had this fundamental approach been altered at the first incident, and responded with the full might and capability of the US Military, with extreme prejudice and no remorse, we would not be in this situation today. For example, Beirut in the early 80's, which was Reagan's watch.

and with the whole Clinton thing- sorry, i hate when people downplay it as "just a BJ". who cares about the BJ... he PERJURED himself on the stand. there's a difference.

IMO..lying and cheating on your wife, in her home is the bigger sin...
If you can completely and utterly disrespect the one woman who is supposed the most treasured person in your life...well, i am just glad that he wasn't able to be in office any longer than he was...Cause he could easily d that to the rest of the world
"i never had any sexual relations with that woman"
