Mom yes, little ones here and there, Dad..NO WAY..I still get yelled at like I am five..I get the full name when I do it in front of him, Jaime Marie talk like a lady!!. Its funny though when I do curse in front of him I quickly cover my mouth and apologize.

I try not to. It slips every once in a while. But my mom would have smacked us on the butt or face if we did (in the days when you COULD do that with out a home visit from ACS) and my father would have been incredibly disappointed. I would never curse in front of children though.

I always knew I was grown up when my mom would hurl an "f" word now and again! I guess she figured what damage was done, was done!

i never used to growing up (it was a big NO NO). now i do though. my mom has even picked up a few select words from me. on more than 1 occassion i have heard here drop the F bomb. sounds so funny coming out of her mouth though. just not natural. never dad though. worse thing he says is god dammit.

I do...only when I am angry though and can't control it.

I try never to say the f-bomb though...I also was brought up thinkink it was disrespectful and I still think so to this day!

Yes- My Mother bought us a curse jar that you put $$ in whenever someone says one!
We try not too- but it slips!
But not in front of my son- we do not need for him to go to school sharing "new" words

I have spent the last week effing and blinding in front of my 92 year old grandma!!! Cursing makes me laugh! The British have a great tradition of swearing!! I love to curse! Must try to stop this habit as my little boy is due to start talking in the next few months...

In front of mine, yes. My dad always said they were "just words" so we never made a big deal out of them, even when we were younger.

In front of DH's parents, no way. Not even suck or pisse d. His mom will only watch G rated movies.

I curse in front of my mom because she curses all the time.

My mom was like the Virgin Mary. She thought "crap" was a bad word.

My dad has/had a real potty mouth, even though we were trained to never say "bad words'' in front of our parents, we have no qualms cursing in front of my dad every once in awhile.

I think a lot of it has to do with age too. When we were younger it was a bigger thing to curse, now that we are adults it is almost as if you hit a "legal" status. Cursing at 33, is a lot different than cursing at 12.

I try not to but sometimes if I'm upset or angry something might slip. Never the f-bomb though, they'd kill me.
